Frequently Asked Questions
£70 for a 50-minute session.
The method of payment is by bank transfer, made 48 hours prior to the session.
Sessions are weekly. As therapy progresses, fortnightly sessions can be discussed if appropriate.
This will vary for each person. Some people need short-term counselling, consisting of a few sessions, whilst others may need to see a counsellor over a longer period of time. We can discuss this during your first session.
I am available on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-7pm.
All sessions are confidential. In a few circumstances, I may have to share information, for example, if you were at risk of harming yourself or others. This would be discussed in further detail during the first session.
We can explore this at your initial appointment. This will give you the opportunity to talk about your concerns and your expectations, as well as ask any questions. We would also discuss how we would work together and any practical details. You will then have time to decide whether counselling feels right for you, and if it doesn’t, there is no obligation to continue.
As a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), my credentials have been checked and approved. This can be viewed on the BACP register.
